We do
not market to self-publishers, print on demand publishers, or vanity
presses. We are not in any way associated with the
self-publishing industry.
We

We
believe that quality can come from anyone and we are constantly
seeking new and fresh work. Our only real requirement is that
the work meets or exceeds industry quality standards and has
commercial appeal.
We
and our sister agencies have successfully negotiated contracts
for numerous titles to date. In addition, as of this quarter,
corporate-wide,
we have at least 68 “open” discussions with publishers
about certain manuscripts, 3 contract negotiations underway for
books, and 3 options in various stages for movies. We feel very
positive that we will meet or exceed our goals this year.
Our Agents are experienced and dedicated to the success of our
clients. We do not charge reading fees or any other type of fees.
Our contract, if offered, is very simple. We only get paid if
you get paid.
The
Christian Literary Agency has numerous contacts with influential
buyers with
all the major Christian Publishers.
The
Christian Literary Agency is a part of the Literary Agency Group
(LAG), an umbrella organization
that has acquired various
literary agencies. Many of the other agencies focus on vertical
market niches. Through LAG, we are able to capitalize on
the contacts made by the agents in our sister agencies as well
as our own, and
therefore bring a much better and wider set of contacts to
bear for our clients.
